Two houses. Mid C18 altered C19. Cob, brick and lias, now rendered, with slate
roofs. Originally both of 2-unit plans. No.2 is single storey with attic;
3-window range of casements with glazing bars at ground floor, with dormer
window to left. Central C20 door. Brick stacks at ends. Right gable rebuilt in
brickwork. No.4 is 2 storeys; 4-window range of C20 casements. C19 roof with
brick stacks at ends. C20 entrance at rear. Interior not inspected but No.2
reputed to have raised cruck construction. Included as examples of cob
construction.
