Farmhouse: early C18 with mid C19 fenestration. Flemish bond brown
brick, graduated Welsh slate roof with stone ridge, 2 gable and 1
ridge brick chimney. Rectangular plan. 2-storey and attic, 4-bay,
south front. Plain bands at 1st and 2nd floor. Windows are 2-light
casements, some with a glazing bar, in plastered plain architraves
with deep wedged lintels with slightly accentuated keyblocks.
Original doorway in 2nd bay now has a window and door is now at the
right end in a similar architrave. Attic storey has 2 4-pane
casements and a blocked window. Lean-to addition to left side. Bands
continue on all sides.
Interior: Central room has inglenook fireplace with stone seats and
niches inside. Chamfered bressumer and ceiling beam with tongue
stops. To rear original dogleg stair with heavy handrail and
continuous square newel post. Balusters are lost. Door with 2
fielded panels upstairs.
