School and attached masters house, now one dwelling. Datestone 1853. Limestone
ashlar with slate roof. House originally 3-unit plan: together with school it
forms an L-shape plan. Single storey with attic. House is of 4-window range of
C20 casements, with glazing bars, in original openings under rusticated heads.
C20 half dormers. Central stone porch with pediment and rusticated arch-head
opening. Ashlar stacks at eaves to left of porch and at ends. School room is
attached at right angles to right with plain 9-light casement under stone lintel
in gable end. Plain gabled stone porch to left has 4-panel door. Interior not
inspected. Included for group value.
