Two houses now one dwelling. C16 with later alterations and C19 house attached
to left. Exposed timber frame, red plain tiled roof, red brick chimneystack with
attached diagonal shafts. 2 storeys and attics. 3 window range of vari-light
casements with centre transoms. Off-centre right board door, simple surround, flat
canopy. The C19 range to left of red brick, red pantile roof, central red brick
chimneystack. 2 storeys. 2 window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes,
segmental heads. Central door with 2 top lights, simple surround, flat canopy on
brackets. Interior: Herringbone brick floor to original range. Inglenook fire-
place. Inserted ceiling. Jowled storey posts. Original floorboards to some first
floor areas. Vertically boarded doors with strap hinges. Short halved and bridled
top plate scarf.
