The present building is a timber-framed and plastered building with a
tiled roof. Some C18 and later external features. Probably of C17-C18
origin but much modernised. Two storeys. Three window range of modern
casements on the upper storey and double-hung sashes with glazing bars
on the ground storey. Central gabled porch. On the south side at the
east end the wall is of red brick and there is a C16 two storeyed octagonal
bay with moulded brick arched window openings, (2 lights on the front
and one light on the sides). The west side of the bay is obscured by
a C19 addition. Modern pent roof. Probably part of an earlier larger
house or religious building on the site. The ground storey room to the
north of it has heavy exposed beams.
