House. C17, remodelled in early C18. Originally timber-framed. Front of rendered
flint rubble with early C18 brick dressings: later C18 random bond brick walling
to left and right bays: similar materials to rear. Gabled old tile roof; ridge
stacks finished in C20 brick. L-plan. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Timber lintel
over C20 door with C20 brick porch. Irregular fenestration of flat brick arches
over C20 leaded casements, except C18 two-light casement with diamond panes
above C18 three-light leaded casement to right. C18 rear outshut. Right-angled
C18 wing to right of front of one storey and attic, one-bay range: rendered
flint rubble with brick dressings and gabled old tile roof; brick external
stack; 3-light leaded casement to left. Interior: original timber framing
exposed to rear. Stop-chamfered bean and chamfered bressumers over fireplaces.
Four-bay queen-post roof with clasped purlins.
