Formerly one dwelling, now 2 cottages. Mainly C17, possibly older origins.
Mid C20 rear additions. Timber framed and roughcast-rendered. Thatched roof,
half-hipped to left. 1 1/2 storeys. Gold Brook Cottage has one C19 casement
window and a C20 gable-end porch and door. Hollydean has 2 mid C20 standard
small-paned casements and 2 gabled dormers with C19 windows. Mid C20 door.
Small internal stack. Interior of Hollydean unmodernised, with most of the
structure concealed. Square joists in main ground floor room. On the upper
floor some plain studding with reverse-curved braces. 2 C16-C17 doors.
