House. Early C18, possibly earlier. Limestone rubble with squared quoins and
timber lintels; old plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. 2-unit plan with
added rear outshut. 2 storeys plus attics. 2-window front has 6-panel door, to
left of centre, with a flat wooden canopy on scroll brackets; to right and left
at ground and first floors are small-pane 3-light casements. Straight joint
indicates earlier date for right bay. Windows in left gable wall have brick
relieving arches. Rear outshut has brick quoins and is probably mid/late C18.
Interior not inspected. Battlemoor Cottage (q.v.) adjoins to right and may have
been part of Battlemoor.
