Three cottages, now one house. Late C17, extended C18 and 1970s.
C17 build: dressed limestone with brick dressings and some chalk
block, C18 part cob, partly rendered, thatched roof with brick
stacks. Gable end to road. Two-storey, 3-window south front. C20
porch to left, 2-light casement to right of C18 part, three 2-
light casements to earlier build, centre one in blocked doorway.
First floor has 2-light casement to left and 2-light and 3-light
casement to right. Right return has C20 lean-to porch, evidence of
earlier lower roofline. Attached to left of front is 1979
addition, not of special interest. Rear has 3-light casement and
inserted C20 door to C17 part, two 2-light casements and two
single-light casements to C18 build to right, brick eyebrow dormer
with 2-light casement to left, 3-light and three 2-light casements
to first floor to right.
Interior has chamfered beam with stepped stops, partly blocked open
fireplace with chamfered cambered lintel on chamfered stone jambs
at west end of C17 part.
