TL 40 NW NAZEING BACK LANE,
3/40 Headmaster's Cottage

House. Mid C17, timber framed and weatherboarded, with red plain tile roof.
2 storeys. Two bays with central chimney bay. 2 window range to ground floor,
3 window range above. C20 casements. Plain central door. Original central
red brick chimney stack. C20 lean-to extensions left and right. Internally
the original frame survives with jowled storey posts and chamfered common
joists. Originally had feature gables to front.
