2. Probably early C16 house, formerly an open hall, with extensions at either
end. 2 storeys, 3 windows, irregular. The projecting east wing is Cherry
Cottage. High pitched tiled roof, hipped at both ends, with gablet at right.
Old compound off-centre stack. 1st floor windows are gabled dormers just above
eaves level. Altered exposed timber framing with plaster filling. Small
modern leaded casements and door under gabled hood. Lean-to left extension.
Inside much exposed timber and a roof which shows smoke blackening although it
is of side-purlin construction.
