Former farmhouse, latterly used as a public house. Late C16. Timber framed
and plastered with a pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3-cell form. Mid
C20 small-paned casement windows, 2 on the ground floor being bowed. A lean-
to entrance porch with mid C20 boarded door. Internal stack. Much of the
framing is exposed, especially at first floor level. Plain joists in hall and
at service end. Newel stairs. Roof has a single row of clasped purlins and a
ridge piece.
