Two cottages. Probably C17. Timber framing with brick and plaster infill and
same limestone rubble; interlocking-tile roof with brick stacks. 4-unit range.
One storey plus attics. 4-window front is divided by a projecting lateral stack
with large squared quoins. No.10, to left, has a plank door between C20
casements with 2 dormers; Corner Cottage, to right, has a similar arrangement
but the framing has been altered at ground floor. Gable wall, to right, has
almost-complete framing, Left gable wall, to No.10, is limestone rubble, mostly
obscured by later rendered outshut, and has a stack. Brick single-storey wing to
rear of Corner Cottage is probably C19. Interior not inspected. Probably
originally one house,
