Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17; refronted early C18. Coursed limestone rubble;
gabled stone slate roof; stone end stacks. 2-unit cross-passage plan. 2 storeys
and attic; symmetrical 3-window range. C19 half-glazed door set in late C16
segmental-arched and chamfered stone surround. Chamfered timber lintels over
one-light casement above door and early c18 three-light wood-mullioned and
transomed windows, with original leaded lights on first floor. Parapet; 2 late
C19 gabled roof dormers. Service range to left of similar materials and
2-storey, one-bay, range: 2-light leaded casement and C20 plank door set in
chamfered wood frame. Rear: 2-light leaded casement, and stair-turret with late
C16/early C17 two-light ovolo-moulded wood-mullioned windows with leaded lights.
Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
