Barn. Early C17 and C18 addition to north. Timber framed, mainly weatherboarded;
later addition in red brick with parapet gable end. The west slope of the roof is
thatched, the east slope clad in corrugated asbestos. The timber frame is substan-
tially intact, although a modern intermediate floor has been inserted. 4 bays, with
arched bracing in the side walls between most bays and at the angles; 2 of the 3 open
trusses retain their arched bracing. Good intact roof with clasped and butt purlins
and arched wind-bracing between. Stepped butt purlins to later addition. Attached
at either end of the barn are C19 stables.
