Farmhouse, divided into 2 cottages in the C19. C16 or C17 with early/mid
C19 additions and alterations. Timber-framed with colourwashed stucco
render and a thatched roof. Two storeys. Entrance front: stucco render
grooved in imitation of ashlar. Near symmetrical C19 front imposed at the
time of subdivision. Plank doors at left and right, to either side of each
of which are 2-light casements. To the first floor of each cottage are
three 3-light casements. Hipped roof with near-central brick stack.
Attached to the house at right and recessed is a brick addition with some
flint walling and a thatched roof. Blank left hand end. Rear: lean-tos at
left and right of C19 brick. Between these to the ground floor is a
boarded window at right and a 2-light window at left. Two 2-light first
floor windows at left.
Interior: Massive chamfered ceiling beams and joists to both cottages.
