House. Late C17, with C18 extension to left. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled
concrete tile roof; brick left end stack; moulded stone ridge and end stacks to
right. 4-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Bay to left has C20
hood over C20 door; timber lintel and ground-floor flat stone arch over 3-light
casements. Symmetrical 2-window range to right: C20 hood over C20 door; late C17
chamfered stone-mullioned and transomed cross windows, and cross carved in
relief set in segmental-arched panel. C18 outshut to rear. Interior not
inspected but likely to be of interest. Subsidiary features: C18 forecourt wall,
approx. 8 x 14m and of stone-coped limestone rubble, has tall side walls ramped
down to low front wall.
