Inn, C18, whitewashed rubble stone with black painted dressings,
stone tiled roofs with coped west gable and west gable of lower
range attached. Lower range has west end wall stack. Main front
is gabled to The Green, two-and-a-half storeys, with C19
bargeboards and C19 projecting Tudor-style porch with datestone
T.H.A.P. 1872 (initials of T.H.A. Poynder of Hartham Park). Ovolo-
moulded 3-light mullion windows with hoodmoulds, one each side of
porch, one to first floor centre and bead moulded attic window.
West end gable is ashlar, possibly C19 rebuild. Lower west range
has 3-light ovolo- mullion window with hood to front, west end door
in C19 gabled surround with 2-light attic window, ovolo-moulded
with hood over. Early C19 iron small paned casement.
