Two houses. C18 with C19 alterations. Coursed rubble with flush
rusticated dressed stone quoins, wooden lintels (some concrete
painted to simulate wood) and gabled stone slate roof with end
stone stacks. Two storeys, both houses 2 windows wide. Windows
are 4-pane sashes. Central plank door under gabled open porch to
No 3, lean-to porch to shop window and part glazed door to No 1.
The houses occupy an important site at the north end of the market
place.
