Town house, now shop. c.1800, altered. Brick, painted white,
slate roof. Double-depth single-fronted plan. Three storeys
and 2 windows, wooden modillioned eaves; round-headed doorway
to left, with open-pedimented doorcase of semi-columns with
entablatures, plain fanlight; C20 shop window to right, 2
segmental-headed windows at 1st floor with altered glazing,
one square window at 2nd floor sashed without glazing bars.
Cut down gable chimney to right. Interior not inspected. Rare
survival of Georgian domestic building in city centre, forming
part of group which includes No.9 Richmond Street (q.v.), a
similar building, and No.37 (Churchill PH) between them.
