Public house. Late C18 with C19 alterations. Coursed squared
stone with ashlar plinth and dressings; stone slate roof with
stone gable coping and brick chimneys. 2 storeys; 2-window
range. Step up to renewed door and plain overlight at right in
painted stone surround. Boarded double doors to vehicle
entrance at left with pecked, margined voussoirs forming
elliptical arch. Central canted bay window has cornice and
plain sashes. Full-width name board at first floor level.
First floor has 4-pane sashes with painted flat stone lintels
and projecting stone sills. Roof has central and end brick
chimneys. INTERIOR: not inspected.
