House, now bank. Late C18, with c1900 bank. Limestone ashlar
and granite, with party wall stack, roof not visible.
Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style, Edwardian Baroque
style bank.
3 storeys; 3-window range, with a single storey bank. Plain
house has a cornice and parapet, with a central pedimented
section set forward. 6/6-pane sashes, 3/6 panes on the second
floor. The bank set in front of the ground floor has outer
doorways with rusticated surrounds, granite plinth and a
modillion cornice and balustrade. The main left-hand doorway
has a moulded architrave with a plain panel to the lintel, a
dentil segmental pediment, and 2-leaf 6-panel door. Right-hand
doorway has deep consoles to a canopy and plain overlight, to
a 2-panel door. 3 windows set between distyle-in-antis Ionic
columns with banded jambs and plate-glass windows.
INTERIOR: late C19 bank interior has cornice and C18 rear
fireplace.
