Attached pair of houses. c1850. Render with limestone
dressings, pantile roof. Double-depth plan.
2 storeys and basement; 3-window range. A symmetrical front
with an attached house to the rear. Pilasters with acanthus
capitals, first-floor sill band, frieze, cornice and tall
parapet, and matching first-floor pilasters to the central
window. Panelled door, C20 left-hand ground-floor window and
4/4-pane right-hand sash, first-floor 6/6-pane sashes, wider
on the outside. Right-hand side has a C20 doorway and a
1-window range of cambered heads to 6/6-pane sashes.
INTERIOR not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached side area wrought-iron railings.
With neighbouring Nos 12 & 13 (qv), an unusual form of
semi-detached house.
