House, now shop and offices. Late C18 to probably C17 core.
Brick; asbestos tiles to front, Welsh slate to rear.
3-storeys; 3-window range: early C19 plain sashes in moulded
cases under gauged brick flat arches; storey band; two 1/1
sashes in moulded cases; brick modillion eaves. Central door
in protruding C19 shopfront with curved return to right; to
right, double door, to passage to rear, under brick arch;
storey band of narrow brick over. Passage to rear has cellar
opening, stuccoed walls. C19 half-glazed door with moulded
architrave. Rear wing (2-storeys) has C19 brick stack to rear
gable, of which the visible portion is weather boarded; right
side has projecting first floor (on exposed bressummer),
roughcast with two C19 casements; stuccoed ground floor has
two late C19 plain sashes. Further workshop range (probably
C17 with many alterations) is of rubble with some brick quoins
and patching, and various early C19 lights, and sliding sash.
INTERIOR: chamfered beams, some splayed window openings and
stone arched opening to stairs to higher level range; base of
massive gable stack, with blocked fireplace.
