Chapel, screen walls and schools. Chapel of 1804, porches and schools added
c1840. Grey brick, Welsh slate roofs. Chapel of 2 storeys, 5 bays.
Venetian window with glazing bars and radial glazing to centre bay: to right
and left are projecting brick gabled porches with doors of 6 raised and
fielded panels with overlights under cambered wedge lintels with projecting
keyblocks. To end bays are 16-pane sashes with radial glazing under round
brick arches. First floor: central, smaller, Venetian window of similar
character to that below. To right and to left are 9-pane sashes with radial
glazing in moulded architraves with sills. Hipped roof. Screen walls each
with panelled and glazed door with overlight under cambered wedge lintel
with raised keyblock. To right and left are gabled single-storey wings each
with two 2-light pointed windows with glazing bars. Ornamental barge
boards.
