GV II
House. Early C18, with early C19 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled
concrete tile roof; brick end stacks. L-plan with rear right wing. 2 storeys;
2-window range. Flat early C19 brick arch and brick jambs to C20 door with
wrought-iron brackets to flat hood above. Similar architraves to mid C19
six-pane horned sashes to left of door. Timber lintels over C20 windows on first
floor. Small C19 gabled roof dormer. C18 rear wing of similar materials with
one-storey extension, of similar materials with C20 roughcast to left. Tall
2-storey extension to left, of similar materials with brick end stack and C20
roughcast, is C18, with upper storey remodelled in mid C19 and horned sashes to
left end wail. Interior: C18 four-panelled door set in chamfered wood architrave
to rear of passage: boxed quarter-turn stairs with winders has moulded cornice
and panelled door. Chamfered beams and butt-purlin roof.
