Mid/later C19. 2 wide cast iron spans with central pier and abutments of rough
stone, the latter rising as 4 castellated turrets. Gothic tracery tospandrels and
balustrade. Bridge crossing this one at higher level in course of construction
at time of inspection.
Memorial drinking fountain attached to south west turret dated 1871.
