House, now 2 houses. Circa 1700, extended and divided in early
C19. Timber frame dark weatherboarded, red brick casing to lower
floor of front block, old red tile roof. A small picturesque 2-
storeys building facing S. A central chimney, lobby entry, 2-
room plan house with late clasped-purlin roof structure and
straight wind-braces and tension-braces. 2 front windows on each
floor. 2-light flush casement windows. Central boarded door
(appropriated to No 2 on the W). The Flemish-bond early C19 red
brick casing to lower floor has corner buttresses and is carried
higher over the doorhead. 2-storeys rear extensions dark
weatherboarded with 2-light, small paned, cast iron casements.
Extension parallel at No 2 but at riqht angles in No 1. Modern
flat roofed rear extension not of special interest.
