GV II

Lodge. 1851-52 by Thomas Parry. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. Slate roofs with ashlar coped gables. Quoins, chamfered plinth with moulded eaves. Cross plan. 2 tall ashlar stacks. Single storey. South front has slightly projecting central bay with a single glazing bar sash with moulded ashlar surround and raised keystone, topped by a pediment. To the right a single glazing bar sash, and to the left a 4 panel door, both with moulded ashlar surrounds with raised keystones. All openings are segment headed. Street front has similar fenestration. Built as part of St John's Hospital.
