Public house. Mid C19. Roughcast, probably over limestone
rubble; stone sills and stepped coping to gable ends; slate
roof, pantiles to rear. Double-depth L-shaped plan. 2 storeys,
8-window range, 3 to Old Town, 4 to Church Street, one
off-centre on canted bay at corner, which has mid-C20 double
doors. Other door, 3rd range from the right, is mid C20 with
vertical glazing bars to overlight set in raised surround with
cornice. All windows are 6/6-pane sashes with horns except 2
blind windows on first floor, to left of bay and above
right-hand door, both having brackets for inn signs. INTERIOR
not inspected.
