Two houses, probably formerly one house. Early C19. Render
over brick; double-Roman tile roof hipped to the left of the
Blake Street block which has 2 brick ridge stacks to the left
and one brick stack to the right gable end of the Dampiet
Street block. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range to
the Blake Street facade, 2-window range to the Dampiet Street
facade. All windows have flat arches and 8/8-pane sashes
except one to the first-floor left and 2 to the centre of the
Blake Street side which are 6/6-pane sashes. To the far left
of this side is a painted panelled wooden pilaster and a door
with 6 reeded panels, probably a former window, with a square
fanlight. The door to No.2 to the right has 8
raised-and-fielded panels in a doorcase with panelled
pilasters, lintel and top corners. The Dampiet Street facade
has a cornice and parapet returned to the left, a panelled
wooden pilaster to the left and a plain painted stone one to
the right; moulded wooden architraves to 8/8-pane sash
windows. INTERIOR: No.2A, now offices, retains a door with 8
raised-and-fielded panels, an elliptical-arched recess and a
4-panel door. No.2 not inspected.
