House. Dated 1670 but extensively remodelled 1891. Coursed, dressed and
squared red sandstone; tiled roof; ridge stack and end stack to addition on

sandstone with moulded string at first floor level, three-light casements;
central entrance with boarded door under C19 Tudor arch lintel; inscribed:

a further small plaque over is inscribed "LJM 1891". The ground floor appears
to be largely C17 work and the first floor mainly C19 indicated by the non-
fitting quoin junction to the left gable. This gable has a range of C17,
labelled 2-, 3-, 3-light chamfered mullioned windows. The rear elevation has
a heavy lintel for an entrance (now a window) corresponding to the position of
the front door, also four C17 window openings; the first floor remodelled in
the C19 phase.
