House. C17, with early and late C19 alterations. Squared flint
to ground floor, coursed roughly-dressed limestone above with
irregular stone dressings to door; rusticated stucco
pilasters; thatched roof; brick stacks to gable ends.
Double-depth central-stairhall plan.
2 storeys, symmetrical 3-window range. Early C19 six-panel
door under shallow wooden fanlight set in reeded doorcase with
segmental hood on brackets. Early C19 canted 2-storey bay to
either side with 6/6-pane sashes to fronts and with cornices
above ground floor windows. Similar 6/6-pane sash set forward
in moulded frame above door. C19 rear wing greatly altered.
INTERIOR: some C17 panelling on stair to rear right of hall,
and similar late C19 panelling to first floor right. Otherwise
interior has early C19 features including doors and cornices.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES; attached limestone plinth supporting
spearheaded area railings of long/short style with cast
finials to each rail and a working gate left of door.
