Terraced houses. Dated in a plaque to first floor of no 21,
inscribed 'Charlton Place 1790'. Developed by James Taylor.
Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, roof obscured by parapet.
Three storeys over basement, two windows each. All openings
have gauged brick heads. Round-arched entrance with cornice
and fanlight, decorative glazing to nos 21-25. Ground-floor
windows round-arched, upper windows flat-arched. Sashes of
original design to nos 23 (first floor) and 25 (ground floor).
Parapet. Stacks to party walls. Cast-iron railings to area of
no 23 with urn and spearhead finials.
