2 cottages, lower than the road. Late C18 remodelling of
earlier fabric. Painted render over rubblestone, continuous
thatched roof with external stacks to gable ends and rear. C18
two-unit central-entry plans with outshuts.
2 storeys; each cottage is 2-window range. C19 and C20
two-light casement windows with small panes, except No.15 to
the left which has a C19 oriel window of three C19 lights, to
first-floor left. Central C20 doors, that to No.15 is under a
slated lean-to porch, No.15A is said to be built into the rock
behind it.
INTERIORS not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: a high rendered rubblestone wall connects
the front right corner of No.15A with the rear left corner of
No.17 (qv) which is set forward.
