L-shaped range of farmbuildings: late C18. English garden wall bond
orange brick. Welsh slate roof. L-shaped plan. 2-storey, 5-bay north
front of south range. Brick dentil cornice. 5 doorways to shippons and
feeding passages have rebated basket arched heads and boarded doors. Above
are 2 circular pitch holes with stone sills and some x-shaped ventilation patterns.
West front of east range has an arcade of 3 tall semi-circular arches now
partially blocked. One contains a pair of studded oak doors from a pub in
Christleton. Right 2 bays are another shippon. The rear of this range has
a continuous arcade of tall semi-circular arches, blocked with decorative
ventilation patterns.
