Includes: UNIT No.9 BOLEBRIDGE MEWS Tamworth.
Two houses, now shops and office. c1760. Brick; tile roof with
brick stacks. Georgian style. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Blue
brick plinth, 2 platt bands and C20 eaves, original wooden
cornice removed (1990). Left end has C20 shop front with
bracketed ashlar frieze and cornice taken over entry to
Bolebridge Mews to right, small-paned window and recessed
entrance; entrance to right of centre has plain opening to
recessed C20 door up steps. Windows have sills, and rubbed
brick flat arches, over 16-pane and 12-pane sashes to ground
floor, 12-pane sashes to 1st floor, 9-pane sashes to 2nd
floor. Coped gable and end stack to left, large cross-axial
stack. Rear has 2 gabled wings, that to right with chamfered
beams to interior and C20 addition. INTERIOR: partial
inspection only; chamfered beams to rear wing.
