Mid C19. Rock-faced stone. Ashlar dressings. Pitched slate roof. Ornamental
cresting. 2 storeys. Coped gables. Symmetrical composition. 2 outer gables
with 2-storey canted bays and spherical triangles with hoodmoulds in gable
ends: ground floor sashes divided by colonnettes with Romanesque capitals:
latter between stories ornamented with blind inscribed quatrefoils: 1st floor
as ground floor, with trefoiled heads: moulded cornices. Next ranges have
doors with colonnettes with Romanesque capitals in jambs: cusped fanlights
hoodmoulds. Next ranges break forward very slightly and have single lancets
in gables: tripartite sashes with 2-centred cusped heads and hoodmoulds separated
by colonnettes with Romanesque capitals. Bipartite windows on 1st floor separated
by colonnettes with Romanesque capitals: segmental hoodmould over.
