4/41 Stone cross base, 20 metres
south of the east end of
St. Andrews Church

Limestone cross-base, late mediaeval. About 0.90m, high, and 0.90m square at
the base. Octagonal plinth with a frieze containing 2 4-leafed flowers on each
of the 8 faces; chamfered square corner blocks. The upper face has a square
sinking into which is housed a block about 0.30m. cube, weathered at the top.
Moved by the rector from a nearby field into the churchyard C19.
