2/161 Mill to rear of Jumps

II

Mill. Early C19. Watershot masonry, replaced corrugated iron roof. 3 storeys.
3 bays of semi-circular arches, open to centre, to ground floor. Band. 3 bays
of windows with plain stone surrounds with heavy lintels. Added 3 bays to right
has cottage doorway with sill ties with 2-light flat faced mullioned window to
left and 3-light to right. Over, 3 bays of large windows linked by tie-stones
all with projecting sills. Gutter brackets. Lean-to to right with semi-
circular arched entry, between which is full height cast iron water wheel
(overshot) still intact.
