House. Late C17 and mid C18. Squared coursed lias with timber frame to rear and
slate roof. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. 3-window range of casements with
glazing bars under wood lintels with rendered covering. Part-glazed 4-panelled
door with hood to left of centre. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and large
brick stacks at ridge and ends. Rear has small-framed timber framing with
rendered infill panels. One sash window at rear with glazing bars. Interior:
Room to right of entrance has an open fireplace with moulded bressumer. All
ground floor rooms have moulded and chamfered ceiling beams. First floor landing
has moulded wood brackets supporting eaves beam of timber framed rear wall.
Dogleg staircase to attic. Some original roof timbers and timber framing between
attic rooms.
