Farmhouse, late C17 extended early C19, of brown brick with grey slate
roof. C17 shaped cross-gable right; C17 2-storey porch with shaped
gable, centre; 1½ storey wing of 2 windows (ridge parallel with road),
refronted early C19 but with oak framing in left end gable. Dentil
bands at 1st and 2nd floors and above windows in shaped gables. Large
plinthed chimney on inner side of cross-wing has 3 divided square
flues. Mullions removed and camber arches inserted to window
openings. Wood casements, of 3 lights and 9 panes to lower and middle
storeys of cross-wing and to lower storey of left wing, of 2 lights
and 6 panes to upper storey of cross-wing, porch and left wing. Small
blocked camber-arched opening left of lower window in cross-wing.
Recessed camber-arched doorway left of centre in porch.
Rear and interior of the building not inspected.
