6/95 Henhull Cottage.

II

Formerly house, wheelwright's shop and stable, now house: late C18
with C20 alterations. Washed brick on sandstone plinth. Welsh slate
roof with stone-copings on kneelers, and 2 brick chimneys. Buildings
in long range 2-storey, 4-bay south-east front has 6 small-pane iron
windows with 4 central panes hinged, under segmental brick heads to
the right. To left are 2 lines of ventilation holes. North-west
front of 2-storeys and 9 bays substantially altered but with original
2 square pitch holes above a doorway at the right end and 2 windows (1
with small-pane iron window), all under segmental brick heads,
surviving.
Interior: some exposed sawn ceiling beams and joists.
