One building. C16-17 timber-framed building, refronted in the C18. Three storeys.
Five windows. Ground floor red brick, above tile-hung. Modillion eaves cornice.
Tiled roof. The centre of the second floor is recessed with a wooden balustraded
balcony and triangular window jutting out behind the balustrade. One round headed
window on first floor. Glazing bars intact above ground floor. No 81 has a door-
way with fluted pilasters, moulded frieze, pediment and door of eight fielded
panels. No 81A has a matching modern doorway. Two modern curved shop windows
with imitation "Gothick" glazing. The Memorial Hall has a projecting modern porch
of Georgian character with two pairs of fluted Ionic columns.
