House now hotel. Early C18, remodelled early C19, later alterations and
additions. Roughcast, hipped slate roof; roughcast off ridge stacks.
3-storeys with blocking course, reduced proportions to second floor;5 bays,
16-pane glazing bar sashes, second floor left is blind, 12-pane sash to
ground floor left with keyed semi-circular head containing webbed radiating
glazing bars. Central columned porch with flat roof. Single-storey
extension wing to left with 2 semi-circular headed glazing bar sashes and
French casements. C20 extension set back to right with large bow windows.
Interior. Ground floor windows retain panelled shutters; C18 dog-leg stair-
case with closed string, turned balusters and moulded handrail. C19 spiral
staircase with cast-iron stick balusters and wooden handrail.
