Farmhouse, late C17. Red brickwork facade, gables and rear coursed
stucco. Roof formerly covered with stone slates now blue tiles at the
front and concrete tiles at the rear. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Rear wings
complete an "F" shaped plan. Recessed sashes with stone sills and
cambered flat arches ground floor, flush casements, in cross window
style, first floor. Replaced half glazed door, in chamfered frame
with central mullion overlight, under flat cambered arch. Wall
thickened up to first floor level where it finishes in a weathered
blue brick band. Stacks south gable and one bay in from the north
gable.
Interior: Exposed full cruck with its blades flanking an inglenook.
Heavy chamfered beams, some exposed ceiling joists. Boarded doors on
old strap and tee hinges.
