House. Probably 1780s or 1790s. Coursed rubble; tiled roof. Set end on to, and well back from, the road; 2-storeys; gable end entry. The house shares the
decorative detailing of the Arkwright phase 1 houses, ie one 2-light. stone mullioned window to each floor (to gable front) and doorway with substantial rectangular lintel and crude capitals and bases to imposts (all tooled). 2 small windows to rear gable wall; one side wall with external stack (renewed brick shaft), the other with lean-to.

House. Late C18. Gritstone with gritstone dressings. Plain tile roof, with a
single brick stack. Single gabled bay, 2 storey. Doorway to right has flush
dressed jambs and lintel, and a C20 half-glazed door. A single 2 light flush
mullion window to the left. Above a single similar window. Listed for group value only.
