Bakehouse or detached kitchen. C18, altered C19. Thinly coursed Cotswold
stone rubble with Cotswold stone slate roof. Single cell plan with projecting
semicircular oven. One small window and oven on east side, altered door in
gable end. Chimney on north gable and one to oven. Interior shows original
open fireplace with stone hood supported on cylindrical monoliths. Small
flanking oven. The large beehive oven is a C19 addition built on the outside
of the wall. A remarkably complete example of this building type.
