C18 refronting of early C16 timber framed building. 2 storeys painted brick
front. Eaves band. Steep pitch gable end old tile roof. Flat roofed dormer.
2 windows and central panel on lst floor. Flush architrave framed sashes,
no glazing bars. Ground floor has later C19 shop front with flanking pilasters
crowned by heavy paired brackets. The north wall on ground floor, visible
in adjacent passage leading to Ivy Place qv, has exposed framing, post and
bressumer. Gabled brick wing to rear with irregular casements.
Interior: some framing in north front wall with curved brace. Roof trussed,
collar tie, curved brace, land braces and clasped purlins.
Nos 63 to 67B (odd) form a group.
