Farmhouse now house. 1736. Red brick; plain tile roof; brick integral
end stacks. L-shaped plan, short wing to the rear, 2 storeys and attic
with storey bands and toothed eaves band. 5 bays, casements with segmental
heads, 3 gabled attic dormers. Central gabled porch of circa 1900 with
C20 door and rectangular overlight. Interior. Dog-leg staircase with
turned balusters; chamfered and stopped spine beams; panelled oak window
shutters; several original doors, those to the attic rooms are composed of
horizontal planks fixed to vertical planks. In the front garden a datestone
of 1736 recently removed from the front of the house.
